Hello
I feel so terrible correct at present and I really am worried.
I made upward two bottles and put them in a thermal bag i was chilled from the refrigerator the other was still hot. I got i out to feed him and had my gloves on as presently every bit he took a gulp he spat it dorsum out and started crying. When I tested it information technology was the 1 that was hot and information technology did stung my wrist when I temp checked it.
My son cried and has now fallen asleep. I am worried information technology has burned his mouth and throat
What should I do?
Please don't lecture me that I should have checked it beginning, I am aware of that and always practise it but stupidly forgot

Easy exercise, I would non worry if he's gone to slumber he'due south not in much pain! My Piffling Boy would simply beverage hot bottles from a very immature age!

If he is sleeping I would non be too concerned, however there is no harm in popping to the doctors or A&East for them but to cheque him out, and make sure his throat and tongue is ok. These things happen, you won't be the first mum who fabricated this mistake nor the last, practice not beat yourself up too much, pop to the doctors, he may have some burns to his mouth which they'll requite y'all some ointment xx

Hi don't beat yourself up we all brand mistakes, it sounds like he spat it out and didnt consume information technology so worst example he has probably burnt his mouth and got a cicatrice on his tongue (very worst case), simply I doubt there would be any long term or serious damage.
If you are worried requite NHS straight or the gp a phone call.

I could cry I feel then bad, The one time I don't cheque and this happens. I rang the doctors and they oasis't got annihilation till tomorrow even though I have explained what has happened. I have fabricated him an engagement for tomorrow. What signs should I look out for if information technology has burnt him autonomously from blisters and swelling? His belly fabricated some unusual noises as well after xx

If he spat it out I doubt information technology went anywhere well-nigh his tummy!
Any blisters in his mouth will heal very speedily without intervention - have y'all e'er eaten something to hot and information technology burned your tongue, it stings at commencement but goes away very quickly.
If y'all chosen docs and explained and they aren't seeing you until tomorrow they obviously aren't worried!
If he skies his next bottle ok they I would say he'south fine!

Try not to feel too bad, I recollect most of us accept done information technology! And as other people take said, if he'south gone to sleep he tin't exist in much discomfort.
How old is he? Do you think if he had a chip of cool water when he wakes up that might help?
I know if my DS has something too hot he immediately goes for his potable to absurd his mouth his down. He yet insists on eating whatever it is though!
Hope he'due south ok anyhow.
